We now know which games are getting the prime time treatment.Once again, Week 1 is going to be a multi-day affair. With the NFL a week away, college football is going to be playing games all the way from Thursday to Monday night. There are even a few games the on Saturday, August 25, although that day lacks a marquee match-up.Saturday, September 1 is what most will acknowledge as the first true “College Football Saturday” of the year. That night has two big-time match-ups already set.College Football Week 1 prime time matchups:Alabama vs. Louisville will be the first big ABC game of the year. The Crimson Tide and Cardinals kick off their seasons in Orlando at Camping World Stadium. That game kicks off at 8 p.m. ET.Over on NBC, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish get the spotlight, as you’d expect. The Fighting Irish host rival Michigan in what should be an awesome night game, kicking off at 7:30 p.m. ET.On Sunday, LSU and Miami play at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. That game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.Monday night’s game sends Virginia Tech to Florida State for an early season ACC tilt. Willie Taggart’s debut kicks off at 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.ABC has also selected prime time games for weeks two and three.
